Kid’s Day Off Activities

Have a blast on your day off school with friends and fun activities! Day-Off School programs are supervised by ET KidZone staff and are open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The program is held at the Community Center and open from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. The Community Center is located at 255 Briargate Road, Cary. Please refer to more Day Off Program information including a “withdrawal by” date for each day.

Main Event Field Trip

Begin and end the day at the Community Center. Then, let’s get our game on at Main Event! Enjoy an hour of bowling and arcade games plus have pizza for lunch. The pizza lunch includes 2 slices of pizza per person and drink. Please send an alternative sack lunch if your child does not eat pizza. Each child will receive a 1-hour game card. All children will need to have socks for bowling. We will be offsite from 10:15 am – 3:00 pm.

Community Center

Today we will be at the Community Center for activities such as Minute-To-Win-It games and we’ll make a special snack. Children will need to bring a sack lunch and drink and appropriate outerwear for outdoor play if the weather is decent.

Cary Gymnastics Field Trip

Begin and end the day at the Community Center. In between have fun running, climbing, and jumping the afternoon away at Cary Gymnastics. Children will need to bring a sack lunch, drink, and comfortable/active clothing for the field trip. We will be off site from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm.

Community Center – Special Event, The Art of Inflation

Spend the day at the Community Center with a friends and a variety of activities. At 10:30 am awe-inspiring balloon artist, Magical Balloon-dude Dale will present his show The Art of Inflation. Dale blends comedy, audience participation, balloon twisting, and a dash of silliness with upbeat music leaving everyone happy and amazed. Children will need to bring a sack lunch, drink, and appropriate outwear for outdoor play if the weather is decent.

Today we will be at the Community Center for fun day of activities and crafts. Children will need to bring a sack lunch, drink, and appropriate outwear for outdoor play if the weather is decent.

Lou Malnati’s Field Trip

Begin and end the day at the Community Center. In between we will go behind the scenes at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Lake in the Hills to make our own pizzas for lunch. Each child will have a deep-dish pizza, garlic bread, cookie, and a drink for lunch. We will be off site from 10:45 am – 1:00 pm. Children will need to bring a water bottle and appropriate outerwear for outdoor play if the weather is decent.

We can request gluten-free dough for the pizza, however Lou’s cannot guarantee cross contamination with gluten products in the kitchen during the pizza making. Garlic bread and cookie are not gluten-free.

Classic Cinemas Field Trip

Spend the last day of winter break with a movie and Kiddie Combo at Classic Cinemas in Carpentersville. We will be off site from 9:15 am – 12:30 pm. The rest of the time we will be at the Community Center. Children will need to bring a sack lunch, drink, and appropriate outwear for outdoor play if the weather is decent.

Ultimate Ninja’s Field Trip

Let’s have a blast exploring the Ultimate Ninja gym! Try out an agility course, swinging ropes, monkey bars, climbing obstacles, and much more. We will be off site from 12:00 – 3:30 pm. Children will need to bring a sack lunch, drink, comfortable/active clothing for the field trip, and appropriate outerwear play if the weather is decent.
