Growing season is just around the corner – it’s time to begin planning your summer garden at the Hoffman Park’s Community Gardens.
If you love to garden but don’t have the space to create one at home, rent a 20 x 30 foot plot at Hoffman Park and enjoy growing your own vegetables, fruits, herbs, plants and flowers on your own or as a family. It’s the perfect opportunity to teach your children about their food and where it comes from.
Rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To rent, complete a registration form.

Give Back Gardens
We are looking for volunteers to plant and tend the Give Back Gardens. These gardens are several plots designated to grow fresh produce and teach the community about growing and maintaining a vegetable garden. Last year 2,071 pounds of organic produce was donated to the Cary Grove Food Pantry, bringing us to a total of over 20,000 pounds of produce donated since 2011. Use your gardening interest to improve the lives of others and give back to the community.
For more information on garden plot rentals or to volunteer in the Give Back Gardens, contact the Cary Park District at 847.639.6100.
