Guten Tag! You don’t have to go to Munich to celebrate! Join us as we travel to the historic Jacob Henry Mansion Estate in Joliet, IL. This festive matinee event features a performance by Jimmy’s Bavarians, a family-oriented Bavarian band, who will play all the “oompah” favorites! The day als includes a self-guided tour, and lunch with a garden salad, warm rolls, slow cooked German-style pork roast with sauerkraut and potatoes, pretzel rolls with coarse brown mustard, dessert, and coffee or tea (cash bar available). Transportation is by Park District bus. Moderate walking is involved with this trip. Registration deadline is September 3 and refunds will not be issued after the deadline.
